A Festival of Chemistry Entertainments

This publication, part of the yank Chemical Society's Symposium sequence, is a suite of a few pleasant bits of caprice and humor, either intentional and unintentional, from the area of chemistry. beneath these well-known white lab coats truly beat hearts which are able to find and having fun with the lighter aspect in their technological know-how.

Informal Science Education: A Science Club for Kids In 2012, we were approached by the National Science Foundation to extend our outreach efforts into the area of informal science education (ISE). ISE includes educational scientific activities that fall principally outside the boundaries of school curricula. Common examples include exhibits at museums, activities at camps, shows, clubs, science cafés, toys, and do-it-yourself experiment kits. We partnered with the Westside Science Club (WSSC), an organization founded in 2008 by Benjamin Dickow, and the Wildwood School, a private high school in western Los Angeles.
